Dog hunting is not permitted on Mead-Westvaco property from May 1-August 15.Club regulations have been mandated prior to membership dues for 2010 season.  This club may not be for everyone but hopefully it is for you!

· Any bear harvested on Club property will be required to have a live weight of no less than 150 lbs.  · It is illegal to harvest bear over bait.  The Club reserves the right to visit the site of any harvested bear to ensure that state laws are enforced.· Any variations will result in termination of membership.

BE ADVISED...we as a club will not participate in any changes made to current bear regulations.  Therefore, we will not participate in the early September season (Sep. 27-Oct. 2) nor will bears be harvested in the two weeks of buck season (Nov. 22-Dec. 4).  However, we will honor the traditional seasons and take part in bear archery season (Oct. 16-Nov. 20).  And also, we will recognize hunting with or without dogs from (Dec. 6-Dec. 31).

In reality group          participation ensures our             longevity!

Once upon a time in a far away land where everything was free, land companies didn’t charge fee’s, leases were unheard of and personal responsibility didn’t exist.....sounds like a fairytale!  Yes, I guess it is a little unrealistic—huh?  But actually, so is 65,000 acres for less than $300 a year per family. The reason it seems impossible is because it is!  A lot of voluntary work takes place for membership rallies, concealed weapons classes, pig roast, bands, and oh yeah, raffle tickets! Last year our membership doubled, our acreage more than doubled and it was the worse raffle we had ever had!  So, here’s a dose of reality!  We need you participation in our fund raisers or you can expect significant increases in our dues to maintain and hopefully continue our growth.
Our lease will exceed $200,000 this year not payable in fairy dust.

Thanks —Joe Donaldson

Lock the gates:  This is the only way we have a chance of controlling the non member traffic on our leased property.
Membership dues have been changed effective year begining July 1, 09/10 to $275.00 and ATV tag reduced to $5.00.  The club (South Fork of Cherry) merged with us and now we have appx. 65,000 acres.

The Club has purchased the right to use ATVs on Mead WestVaco leased property.  This privilege is with our lease and can be revoked by the land owner..  This represents a change in our relations with Mead WestVaco.  It is important that we, as Club Members, protect  the important agreement we have entered into with Mead WestVaco.  ATVs are allowed in roadways only.  Only Club members, with proper ID plates and member card,  are allowed on the leased property.
